Hi everyone,
I have included a new mandatory dropdown field in Development Plan.
It generally works, user is able to select a value.
With the current configuration, if a user don't select a dropdown field, the first value "Please select..." will be displayed. However, there will be no error message as there is selected a value.
I am wondering if there is the possibility to configure an error popup / message in case a user hasn't selected one of the dropdown values #2 - #10 - but there is still the first value "Please select..." selected.
If this is possible:
Thank you in advance for your help!
Kind regards & have a nice day,
Simone
Hi Simone
The behaviour your expecting can be configured in the Goal Plan XML. Each of the dropdown options defined in your list have an internal value (that can be updated in the XML), so your implementation partner has to update the value for the option "Please select..." to blank, that will force the user to select a valid value. This configuration has to be done in Provisioning.
Hoping this info be useful to you.
Johann
