To exclude a group employees from Payroll run - EC Payroll

Hi All,

We have recently implemented EC Payroll and would like to know how to exclude a group of employees (on demand) from the payroll run.

Let us say, the payroll admin wants to stop the payroll run for 2-3 employees (before initiating the process), how can we achieve it?

Hi Hari,

I have seen something like below screenshot for ECP,so there could be some tile available to update payroll status. Complete Payroll tasks might have the following screen.

If you want exclude employees from regular payroll processing , then lock those employees via Payroll status infotype.

• Individual EE update via Maintain Master Data (PA30) --->Utilities-->Change Payroll Status -->Pers.no locked checkbox or transaction PU03(Change payroll status)
• Mass update via program -- RPUTRBK0

Thanks for your response.

So, can this be done only from the SAP side, can we control this on Employee central end. In ECP, Payroll Admins will be working from Employee central end, and I thought of allowing them to stop/ allow employees for their payroll without any access to the SAP system?

Do we have any options like that.?
