If a manager is terminated, his direct reports can be transferred to the 2nd line manager. Unfortunately this doesn´t work for the future dated hires. I found this KBA from 2019 that says only manual update is possible:

I was wondering maybe it was changed with a later release.
I´m looking for a solution where the manager termination will be automatically updated for future dated hires as well.
