New Course Home inline player no longer working for content that is set to complete on launch

We noticed in our TEST/Stage instance that after the 2H 2022 release, any content that is set to complete on launch (especially non-SCORM based) records the completion and presents the completion confirmation pop-up before the learner has a chance to view the content. We notice this when we set the content object launch method to 'SCORM' when we want non-SCORM online content to launch using the inline player and not in a new browser tab or window. Has anyone else also experienced this?2023-02-21_11-13-04.png2023-02-21_11-14-39.png

@JamesN@UweStieglitz, that's targeted to be fixed via the 2211 patch 19 (KBA 3288003).

I read the KBA and this is not when using 'Document Type'. It works fine for 'Browser' but if we want it to open in the inline player like a SCORM object, we see this behaviour. It doesn't happen when the content object is set to 'Broswer' only when it's set to 'SCORM1.2'. Also for context we use a custom HTML splash page to let the user select their language before launching the video or document.

Hi James, wow, that is really strange and fatal.... Have you submitted an incident? If the documents are compliance related, we really do have an issue...

brgds., Uwe
