New patch 15.5.0 SP3 causes issue with files actions when start WB with Workbench Launcher

Hi

System was upgraded from 15.5.0.2 to 15.5.0.3 and changes introduced in that patch makes files actions inaccessible. That happens only when using a new Workbench Launcher and doesn't apply for javaws start.

Please, check attachments for FILE I/O, SFTP and Web actions groups, there are no icons, order is different and any try of using any of those actions fails. It's impossible to use them in BLS.

There are only two ways to avoid this issue:
1) Start WB through the browser (javaws/jnlp)
2) Use cached jars from 15.5.0.2 for Workbench Launcher

Is it known issue? Is there any permanent solution to fix it or next patch would cover it?

FYI: Fixed with 15.5.0.7.

Workbench launcher skipped some JARs for download which caused some actions to be broken.

Hi,

Often time is due to deployment issue.

Please see the recommendation detail from Steve on the link thread:

Thank you Alex. I will refer it to our Basis team and see what's the outcome.

Hi Alex,

Unfortunately that linked issue is different. Broken actions there refers to SAP ME Integration same as proposed solution. In my case it's broken only for File I/O actions and that happens only when WB is started through WB Launcher.

New released patch implements VSI scans for all those File I/O actions.
