Web addresses are not turned into hyperlinks automatically after paste

When I post a reply, or add a comment to a Q&A and I add a URL to the thread, I would expect that it is automatically turned into a hyperlink, if it's well formed. Such as: http://scn.sap.com/thread/3944747

(The only way I could enter above text not to be a hyperlink here on the old SCN was to type it, pasting it turns links immediately, visible in the editor).

Even though it didn't show up as a link in the editor for the text I typed, after saving it is now a hyperlink. This solution is very convenient, should adapt to new SCN as well.
