Hi Amrita,
Yes, it is possible to record Simulations that span applications. At the point that you switch from one application to the next, the recording Profile should change to the relevant Profile for the SAP application, but that should occur automatically. If it does not, it is likely that your Authoring Settings need adjustment. Please ensure that that your settings allow the Profile to change when recording across applications.
