b2005 upgrade in Sandbox issue due to BizX and Learning version mismatch

Hi,

We had issue with sandbox after upgrade to b2005.  Support advise the issue is due to mismatch of BizX and Learning version.  Our BizX version is 1911 and it was resolved by enabling "Enable SuccessFactors Learning native pages".  Support indicated this issue would not exist for production deployment as both BizX and Learning would be upgraded to b2005.  I'm wondering why BizX isn't upgraded in our test environment to b2005 as well.  As we go through validating the system, I would like the environments to match up to what we will be deploying in production.  Anyone experiencing this issue?

Thanks,

May

Hi May,

We're having a similar issue with our 1911 BizX and b2005 Sandbox, so we'll be interested to read any responses you get. As we're in the project implementation stage, it will be important for us to test the integration both informally in Sandbox and later, formally in Stage. Hence, working natively is definitely not a long-term solution. We've also encountered a number of other new release bugs, believed to be related to this issue.

Kind Regards,
Juliett

We are having the same issue and it concerns me while we are validating the system and the differences that we will have versus what Production will be.  We will have to document how things are now and then we will have to go through and make updates to our documentation.

Hi Everyone,

Your Sandbox environment should be integrated to a BizX tenant in the Preview landscape, which would've gotten upgraded to 2005 release back in March. Please work with your customer account team to ensure your landscape is set up appropriately.

Hi Sany,

We are also facing same issue. We are planning to set up appropriately once release is applied in production.

I have a question for you. Our preview BizX is SSO login but LMS stage is not SSO since we need to test learning processes using native logins. So can we still keep native login for LMS when we set up with BizX preview?

Thanks,

Hi @Sreeni  internal users should not be using native login to LMS. The current LMS native login process will even be deprecated in the next release and moved to IAS.  They should be logging in through platform and future functionality will rely on this more heavily. Native LMS login should be reserved only to external learners, most likely coming in through sites.

Hi,

we have a slightly different issue: we have a b2005 BIZX version but when we call the new UI using the "Learning Administration" new tile it takes to the old Flash-based version in our Preview LMS instance. Open ticket with SAP support!

This is the expected behavior for validated customers. Are you on a validated instance?
