Catalog 3.0 - Is it slow for you in production?

Hello,

We will be turning on Catalog 3.0 as part of our next release (as we didn't do it last year).  We have turned it on in our sandbox environment so we can start to understand the changes, but have noticed that it is a bit on the slow slide (slow to load). 

For those of you who have been using Catalog 3.0 in production, do you find that it is a bit slow to load in production also?

Yes, it was ridiculously slow. We needed to alter the number of catalog "cards" to load. Once that was changed from 40 (which was the max) to 8. It was a much quicker process. You can do this here: LMS--> System Admin --> Config --> System Config --> Catalog --> maxInitialCategoryCards=8 I hope this helps!
