When you upload a content following the wizard instructions, there is a selction during the Step 3 to select the server  location ( iContent server). If a deployment location is selected then you upload and the LMS allow the admin to change the content object ID after the upload.

My question is the following - Is there is a way to change the Content Obejct ID in a similar way to an iContent uploaded object? When we put in a different location this optin is not available.

ANy help will be appreciated

Once imported, Content Object ID cannot be changed. While importing you can edit the Object ID. Also with in database the Content Object ID is the APP_ID column which is a primary key. So once imported, the Content Object ID cannot be changed.
