Is Reporting getting an Upgrade?

I thought I read, or heard, that the Reporting function is getting a complete overhaul (similar to Exams.) Does anyone know if that is correct?

SAP is charging a hefty fee for a simple configuration change (they even showed me the code) and I am wondering if it will be a moot point in a year.

Hello Ward,

the LMS inside reporting (standard reports and custom reports by PRD) does not get a redesign. But SAP has announced to include LMS tables in BizX/Foundation reporting functionality - People Analytics.

From my understanding you can create dashboards, KPIs and operational reporting much faster and easier even if you don't have special knowledge about the database table structure.
