Issue with Learning Admin UI not displaying correctly since upgrade to b2205

I just wanted to check in with this group to see if anyone else is having this issue.  Our Preview Sandbox environment was upgraded to b2205 over the weekend, and since then, our Learning Admin UI does not display correctly.  The left navigation menu does not load fully.  And when I click on sub-menu, the sub-menu does not display fully in the center frame; the center frame becomes scrollable where the Home image scrolls to the top of the page and the sub-menu displays inside a one inch tall scrollable window.  I cannot even scroll to the bottom of the left menu tree when it is expanded because my browser scroll bars freeze.  I have this experience in two different browsers.  And I have had another vSaaS customer contact me privately to share they are having a similar experience.  I will be reporting this to Support also, but please check your environments and report the issue to Support if you have the same problem!  (Image added to post.)

Hi Everyone,

I’m confirming that the emergency patch being applied tonight to your BizX platform tenants should resolve the Admin UI issue. The emergency LMS patch applied last night was mainly to resolve a content structure screen navigation issue which should now also be functioning appropriately. Please verify tomorrow that the Admin UI issue mentioned on this thread is also resolved as expected.

We are experiencing the same issue.  I think a lot of folks are.  There is actually another thread opened in the VSaaS Upgrade Patch thread.  I did notice there was an emergency patch scheduled for tonight and hopeful this will fix the issue, but the description is pretty vague as to what it's going to fix.

Where is the information for an emergency patch scheduled for tonight? Can you be little more elaborate?

I would assume it's on the Cloud Availability page in the Portal but I am just going by the email notification that was sent last night.

I submitted an SAP Support incident on Sunday. Response was it's a known problem. I assume the emergency patch is to fix this.

We are experiencing the same issue. The Emergency Patch that was uploaded did not fix the issue, it has just made it worse.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache after the patch?

I can confirm, that it is now also fixed for us 🙂

The Preivew HXM/BizX has now Release: b2205p4e.20220518215523.

Further more, in Stage is the same HXM version active and LMS b2105p30 and there no error occurs (negativ test for new HXM version > no problems in prod after weekend).

For those stating the issue is not resolved:

  1. Please check the patch window  for your data center and try again later accordingly.
  2. Please ensure to clear your browser cache and cookies before testing.
  3. If you can still replicate the issue and you have a case open with support please provide your update in the case as well so we can take this further.

Hi Team,

We have observed that after the emergency patch the home page, 'Home' button has an additonal drop down-'My Employee file' this was not there before, is it part of the annual release change? If yes what is the release notes number, because we are doing the analysis and we dont find any.

We had this issue occur within our Production Environment over the weekend. We have been advised a Fix is being put in place now, but wondering if anyone else also encountered this in their Production?
We did also have this in our sandbox and reported this at the time.
