Learning Expiration & Overdue notification is not working properly

After the upgarde to b1808, the Learning Expiration & Overdue notification is not working properly.  I assigned 3 items to a user as follows:

  1. Assigned item and changed required by date to be yesterday (1 day past due)
  2. Assigned item and changed required by date to be today

We ran the APM for Learning Expiration at 10am PST and did not receive an Overdue notification but both #1 & #2 was included in Reminder email notification so the item with past due by 1 day is showing up on the reminder notification which is incorrect. I ran the same above scenarios again but with a new item.  This time I ran the APM for Learning Expiration at 10pm PST and received an email for Overdue notification for #1 and Reminder notification for #2 which is the correct behavior. It seems the time zone change to UTC is having an impact on the notification. I opened a ticket with SuccessFactors and they responded saying the fix will be included in b1905 release which means we would have to wait a year. I am escalating this and pushing for an immediate fix. Is anyone in a different time zone than UTC experiencing this issue?

Hi May,

We are experiencing the same issue but I think it might be connected to the Curriculum and Item connector issue we are having.

The curriculum connector is failing and I have to manually update the file to a UTF-8 encoded text file for it to work.

Once SAP resolves the Connector issue, I can then pin point if the notifications are really an issue vs displaying activity that happened during the day. In our case, there are gaps in activity.

I am able to replicate the issue by making manually assignments without the Connector. SF has confirmed there's an issue but indicated the fix is not until b1905 hence this means the issue exists with other customers.
