Looking for 3rd Party Tool to Manage Skill & Role related Data for vLMS

Because EC cannot import into vLMS all the granular data points necessary to identify users for assignment profiles related to manufacturing skills/competencies/certifications, we looking for a 3rd party tool to act as an interface between managers and the vLMS, allowing the import of that custom data. A skill mapping solution. Is anyone familiar with a company which provides such a tool? The idea is that a manager could associate a user with a role tied to a specific repair or job which would then import that data into vLMS through custom fields. Thank you all in advance for any insight or advice you have.

John--If EC has the data you need, it truly should be able to pass it to the LMS. There are 3rd party tools that are used to do that as well like ProEdge, Degreed and eightfold but they would still need the data from a source system in order to do their job.

Thank you. The problem is that we won't be holding this level of granularity in EC. To be more specific, while we have many engineers across different manufacturing an repair groups each one performs different manufacturing jobs and repairs at the line level that need to be associated with specific quality documentation. These can be added or removed from the employee by a line supervisor at a moment's notice.  We are hoping that the integration could pull the user data and custom field data from LMS and simply act as an interface outside of the Learning Administration UI to allow users to be associated with custom field data. This would in turn be used by assignment profiles.

For us, it's simply not feasible to have all that within EC. Thank you for the recommendations. It looks like Degreed may be more along the lines of what we are looking for. 

If anyone else has any experience with vendors who do this sort of skill mapping integration with the LMS or similar custom integrations, please let me know.
