Major Interface Change (And a bad one at that)

I admit that I have not logged on to our SandBox  environment in the last week, but I just logged on to our Staging environment and it appears that a change has been made. And early, as I thought the patch update would not be effective until tomorrow?

I did, however, read through the patch updates and saw nothing about an interface change. And yet, our Staging environment has a HORRIBLE change that will do nothing but confuse our learners and take the To-Do items off the main page. Does anyone else see this and is there a configuration setting somewhere to revert?

For the record, I know we can default back to the old Plateau-style interface but we have many admins (for reporting and data entry) that utilize the favorites link which also HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE HOME PAGE. This could be the worst UI change I have ever seen. In any software. Ever.

Thank you for bringing this to our companies attention.  We weren't aware of these changes and cannot find any documentation stating that these changes would be made.  I'm curious to see if there is a configuration setting somewhere to revert as well.  

Regardless, we should have had notes stating that these changes were going to be made..

We have found that this was a change in BizX which you cannot opt-out. (It's the BizX interface with LMS that changed.) BizX gets quarterly updates whether we like it or not- it's not validated. Which opens up a whole other can of worms in that the whole SuccessFactors system isn't a validated environment... just the LMS. That creates some gray areas with regulatory requirements.

On the BizX page there is a link to "Review SuccessFactors Latest Product Updates." I think you'll find what you need in there. (Our CSV and system owner are the  ones who look at these things regularly-not me. But pretty sure this is it.)

To add to the above, you can review BizX updated in your instance's Admin Center under the Upgrade Center. There you can review upgrades, review completed upgrades, and accept optional upgrades. It looks like our BizX - Stage was updated on 07/27/2018.

All - since this doesn't only impact learning but is a suite-wide change to the homepage that applies across modules, it was announced as part of our Platform's release notes. That link is awful. The original post is a year old, as are the replies, and then it was edited for this year? Why not start a new thread?
