New Course Home AICC Wrapper - All content uses "Launch" button

We are testing the new Course Home in 2305 with AICC Wrapper content. Content that previously launched in the content frame in the legacy interface no longer launches but is replaced with a "Launch" button that launches the content in another tab. I have tried multiple courses and have not found any content that launches in the content frame directly, Is this an intentional design change? If not, what determines what can and cannot be launched in the content frame?

this time last year we identified the same "New Tab" issue when testing the New Course Home with both the standard SF Aicc Wrapper and our custom wrapper, We opened a ticket with SAP Support that was not resolved and the final decision was to Opt Out from the New Course Home.
Since this issue seems still not resolved, we are in wait for a solution before adopting the new Course Home.
In this year release it is still possible to Opt Out and the current decision is not to enable it, as the user experience is deteriorated in comparison with the old course home.

In testing our newly upgraded Sandbox environment, I noticed the same thing. It seems to come down to a previously/currently behind the scenes default setting. At least for us, the Display “Launch in a new Browser Window” option for content objects (System Administration -> Configuration -> Global Application Settings) setting is not enabled. That means that the Launch in a new Browser Window Option is not available on the Content Object’s Launch Method tab, but it is apparently there behind the scenes and defaulted to Yes/checked. When the setting to view that field is enabled and then the option is unchecked, the user experience with AICC Wrapped content is much better. Please give it a try and let me know what you think.
