Q3 2018 Patch Release Notes Updated

Hi Everyone,

Just a reminder that the cumulative Q3 2018 patch 17, which was applied to sandbox environments last week, is scheduled for Preview (Stage) environments this upcoming weekend.  This will include fixes from both patch 16 & 17. The relative patch readme notes can be found at the normal help.sap.com site below:

On our last LSIG call we were made aware that there will be a last patch for the VSAAS LMS sometime in Feb?

We are waiting the patch release schedule and release notes. we cannot start validation till the patch is applied and IQ's ready. tough timelines this time.

please share the details for the "last patch".

Sany, It i stating I do not have the rights to view the page/release notes. Another user in this thread has same problem. (I am the super admin, never had trouble before.) Please see attached screenshot. Thanks!

can you please share the link you refer to ? the one we see is only till patch 17 that was applied in January and nothing later that ??

On another note, this is the second time in about a week that the original emails that were sent had incorrect information (dates, times, links). I hope this is a glitch and that can start to get the information right the first time. I spent time emailing a couple of different support teams to find out why the link to the release notes in the first email this morning didn't work.

Apologize about the issues in communication this morning.  Everything should be corrected now, and the link contains all the 1808p18 information.  Just as an FYI, you can always navigate to the latest 1808 documentation on the help site here:

Perfect !! thanks for the same. we do see the release notes. silly that the "." in your link got added to the link and sort of breaks it but i think we were able to navigate and get to the release notes 🙂 

Please excuse the constant follow up and urgency !! its the heat in terms of timelines to get our validation done and be ready for golive 🙂 had to mve our schedule to adopt to the new patch and hold required resources !

Hi Sany,

The notes for p18 does not provide enough details.  For example: Fixes an issue with the organization connector.  What was the issue?  I am surprised at how much fixes was done for p18 and am trying to get enough info. to make an impact assessment and determine what specific fixes need to be tested.
