Re-assigning items (curricula) to the users with the past assignment and required dates

Hi

We have a issue in launching content (AICC wrapper). Content is opening in a new page. To solve this, we are changing the launch method for those items form connector.

Now there are items which are already to assigned to the users. We are planning to un-assign and re-assigning them back with past assignment and required dates in order to reflect the changes done at the content level.

As i understood, we cannot put back the assignment dates  in past dates. Require your inputs here.

Note: Items are assigned through curricula and not as a free floating items.

Can you go to the item, click on the online content object then reassigning it via this method as this would reset all users training and should allow them to launch the training with the updates.

Thanks for the reply. We have lot of items which are assigned to the users. We are looking for bulk upload option where it should get update with the past assignment date and Required dates.
