scheduled Report notification

Hi all,

As you know from LMS we can schedule reports for ourselves as we as for managers. We usually schedule such reports for tracking our enterprise level programs and managers receive notifications with the report from the system. We would like to know if we can have separate notification for each schedule wherein we would like to change the subject and text in it. What I know is that right now it uses a global template for background report to communicate and we would like to find an alternative.

Few ways you can get around it:

1. You maybe not able to completely customize subject (depending on what you are trying to edit) however you can definitely cusotmize text for each item at item level. However its labor intensive.

2. Alternatively, create a custom report.

Hi Rishabh,

You are correct that this does use a global template for the background report notification.  You can utilize the Job Description in the Recurring Report Job to add unique context around the report. This will show up in the notifications in the Report Job Description field.
