Stories in People Analytics for VSaaS customers

Hi there!

I am beginning the journey of implementing IAS in our test environment so that we can test out the Learning analytics newly available.  While reading the 'Known Gaps in Schemas Available for Stories in People Analytics' I saw: 'Learning VSaaS customers aren't supported' (screen shot attached).

Does this mean that VSaaS customers cannot take advantage of People Analytics at all?

Hello @bobbicallahan -

  If you currently have a Preview BizX tenant connected to a Preview VSaaS LMS tenant, we've enabled the opportunity to implement Stories in People Analytics (provided you have met the prerequisite of enabling IAS/IPS).

For Production, this is coming after the 2021 VSaaS November release.

Absolutely, happy to help!  We are most definitely rolling out Stories for all customers to use.  We wouldn't want to leave our Validated Learning customers out 😊

@Ben_Roberg Does, "Preview BizX tenant connected to a Preview VSaaS LMS tenant"? mean the BizX tenant of the type that is upgraded a month ahead of the production upgrade and Preview VSaaS  LMSis tenant available for testing the new release ahead of the production upgrade. The use of the term Preview in two different ways makes discussing stacks interesting.

  Thank you for the commentary.  To use Stories in People Analytics, you must have your BizX (HXM Suite) tenant on the 1H 2021 (2105) release and your LMS tenant also on the 1H 2021 (2105) release.

If your LMS tenant is in a lower release than that, Stories is unavailable for you to use (which is the case for PreProd/Prod tenants).  The wording was provided to me to use in the context of which tenants have this upgrade available.

The short end result is that post the November 2021 release, all tenants will have the ability to upgrade to Stories in People Analytics (provided they have done the prerequisite of upgrading to IAS/IPS).
