"Tell me about your way into the IT sector" –
This was the topic for a series of documentary movies produced by girls and young women as part of the annualy "Girls Go Movie" program. This year we were able to cooperate with the young female talents and offer the opportunity to make a portrait of female SAP colleagues with surprising or unusual backgrounds and show their way into the IT sector. The premiere took place at the Mannheim Film Festival in November where we could finally see the productions.
Now we want to share them with you on their YouTube Channel.
Within a few months the female participants learned in film projects and holiday camps, how to plan, shoot and implement their own short movies. Since 2004 the program has been introducing girls and young women to the artistic-technical media professions, in order to show female perspectives and to promote diversity in films. Showcasing female role models is part of our mission. We intend to spark the interest of young women in the IT sector, which is why we value this program so much and are already looking forward to next year's productions by new young talented girls.
