On July 5, SAP Women in Tech hosted a session from our Unboxing SAP Strategy format, this specific session was about SAP’s Business Technology Platform (BTP) and our 2 lovely speakers, Nina Vayssiere and Marielle Ehrmann explained BTP by making burgers!
If you do not already know what the Unboxing SAP Strategy format is all about, here is a quick intro: With this series, we focus on strategic areas of SAP such as the Business Technology Platform, RISE with SAP, or SAP's industry cloud. We provide an entertaining, creative, and easy-to-understand introduction to the topic.
Now that you know the format a little better, and the topic of this session, let me give you a quick intro to the session itself. In this session, Marielle and Nina explained the value of the Business Technology Platform by making burgers, this was a creative session where recipe choice is an overwhelming data challenge, decisions need to be taken based on ingredients and reviews, business requirements like vegan or gluten-free are taken into consideration, some steps are automated by intelligent technologies like a Thermomix, the pan needs to comply with security standards, extensions like fries or soft drinks need to be planned in, and so much more.
