There is a new version of the SAP TM collaboration portal enhancement guide available here: SAP TM Collaboration Portal - Customer Extensions.

What's new?

  • Fiori like logon screen
  • Two additional lines of code in init() function of custom component to avoid initial screen when starting extended collaboration portal

I am looking forward to your suggestions & feedback!

Cheers,

Jan

Hi Jan,

We’re newbies to SAP TM so apologies if the question is a basic one.

In your “How to provide Customer Modifications for the SAP TM Collaboration Portal” guide it mentions in section 2.4 that the URL for a custom BSP is “https://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/<sap or

namespace>/<BSP application>/index.html?sap-client=<client>&sap-language=EN”.

In the “TM9.3 Collaboration Portal Admin Guide” it mentions in section 5.1 that the initial page URL is “https://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/tmui/coll_portal/” .

When we use the first URL including our BSP Application in the name – we get tiles which include standard and our custom tile. Our Basis team would prefer us to use the standard URL – the second one – and when we do this the custom tile does not appear (same user hence same roles).

Could you point us in the direction of documentation outlining where we can modify the configuration of the standard Portal so that the custom tile is also included?

Thanks,   James.

Hi James,

if you want to include the custom tiles, you have to use the custom BSP and also get the custom URL then.

Jan

Hello Jan,

We have a requirement to hide some fields from the overlay dialog in the portal. Is that possible by customizing the dialog?

Can an overlay dialog be replaced the way we do view replacement?

Regards,
