Time Zone issue in SAP Work Manager/ SYCLO Applcation

Hello Team,

This is with regards to SAP Work Manager/ SYCLO Application.

We are in rolling out SAP works manager for offline maintenance order updates at remote locations . During capturing data from offline application the time zone which is getting saved in back-end is lagging with IST 5.30 hrs.

Requesting team to please help us on this in order to get the time zone set as per IST format.

Thanks for your valuable inputs.

However, I have tried it earlier, this is the basic element which we add when we are dealing with time zones. Moreover, our internal servers (SAP, SMP, Users) and client devices resides with in IST time zones.

Ideally it shouldn’t show the time difference in transactions.

Please help me in this we are struggling from last 6 months to resolve the issue.

Hi,

To work with different time zone for SAP work manager, you need to set time zone alias in the work manager deployment file so that date and time field convert automatically based on the device time zone.

E.g.

Mitteleuropäische Zeit=Europe/Berlin

Mitteleuropäische Sommerzeit=Europe/Berlin

(UTC+09:00) Seoul=Asia/Seoul

대한민국 표준시=Asia/Seoul

(UTC+1:00) Amsterdam, Berlin, Bem, Rom,Stockholm,Wien=Europe/Berlin
