You definitely addresses an important aspect: the importance of solution documentation. Solution documentation undoubtedly plays a crucial role in the successful implementation of projects, especially in the SAP environment.
However, it is also crucial that we also consider the documentation capabilities of SAP Cloud ALM. Currently (as of 05/16/2023), while not all the familiar features we know from SolMan are there yet. Nevertheless, SAP Cloud ALM already offers versatile, flexible documentation options - and the effort required to implement the tool is significantly lower.

For me, the key to sustainable success lies primarily in the documentation of an up-to-date process hierarchy/structure. If you manage to establish good and sustainable documentation guidelines and thus keep the documentation up to date, the effort is worthwhile and for me is also in line with the agility principle "running software before documentation".

Thanks for the comment, I agree with you, Cloud ALM is the future and must be considered for a new implementation.
