Alternative to Cache Buster for SAP Fiori Launchpad

I have an app running inside the launchpad and I need to be able to automatically clear cache so that it doesn't have to be done manually when a change is made and the app is redeployed.

When an app is run inside the launchpad "Cache Buster" doesn't work, I have tried to enable "flp" as suggested in the blog below but that still does not clear the browser cache.

Any suggestion how to solve this?

Yes that is set up, but the problem might be because I am running the app inside the launcher but it is opened as a new tab.

This is done by creating a link using blog below:

why you run it as standalone app?

My business use cases needs it to run as a standalone app and inside the launchpad shell due to the libraries contained in it. (sap.ushell)
It could be ran on a launchpad but another use case is that it also needs to run on a new tab inside the launchpad.

can you make a comparison?

create another tile, which open the app in place

open both app, check if they are loaded with same url in network tab of your dev tool.

run the app index report( just for your app) to see if there is any issue with your app
