API to connect data from HANA to APPIAN

We want to connect HANA database from APPIAN application. Is there any direct way to do that like JDBC/ODBC connection? If not, what's the best way to do the same? Is there any API which can be used?

I took a quick look at the Appian documentation and it appears that you should be able to use a JDBC connection:

I would not recommend using HANA streaming analytics. HANA streaming analytics is in maintenance only and the EOMM date of 31.12.2025 will not be extended.
