Can we import BW infocube to Datasphere as Remote table ?

Hi Expertise,

Suppose we have a BW system connected to Datasphere, and our objective is to determine whether we can import an infocube into Datasphere as a remote table, similar to how we can import DSOs (DataStore Objects) as remote tables in Datasphere.

Yes, in B/WHANA it is possible. You would need the HANA connection option.

Anyhow, in order to use BW/4HANA, you would need to convert Infocube into ADSO (cube-like).
Connection "SAP BW" supports:

"...Extraction context BW provides access to InfoProviders in SAP BW or SAP BW∕4HANA systems:
DataStore objects (advanced or classic)
CompositeProviders
Queries as InfoProviders (with a subset of OLAP capabilities) - can be enabled in the runtime properties of queries in the BW Modeling tools
InfoObjects (characteristics) - can be enabled in the general settings of the InfoObject editor in the BW Modeling tools..."

Using BW Bridge, you can also convert Infocube into ADSO
