Customer used SDI real time but had issues through lack of knowledge and now just use flow charts.
This was replicating from an ECC SoH to a Hana Analaytics system
The customer now wants to put back in real time analytics but also has another S/4 project going on that will use SLT.
Because they are already going to use SLT for replication between ECC and S/4 that sounds like the sensible option to use for the analytic target but the problem is the SLT project team refuse to share the implementation (project duration 3 years)
My question is can a table have both SLT and SDI real time extraction running at the same time? It appears the triggers are different for each but i may be wrong and regardless is it supported?
To me the best solution would be ECC – (SLT) – S/4 – (SDI) - ANALYTIC but the choice is not mine and the customer is asking if both can be run for realtime extraction off the same source system.
