CAP with HANA Cloud Pricing

Hi

we are currently developing new applications using the cap.

We would like to deploy the apps to Cloud Foundry using HANA Cloud as Persistence Layer.

Can anybody tell about the pricing of HANA Cloud ? I found the estimator, but i am not aware what i really need there.

Our plan is to start with 32GB Memory and then scale up if it is required. I have no glue what this means in regards of all other parameters in the estimator for the capacity units.

Hi Martin,

32 GB is the smallest SAP HANA Cloud that you can get. At Azure you need 1170 and at AWS 1125 Capacity Units to run it continously. For a production deployment I would recommend at least two instances. One for Dev + QA and another one for Production.

I would suggest that you check out the pre-configured scenarios to get a feeling about Storage + Backup.
