DTP error after migrating to BW/4HANA 2.0

Dear Expert,

I got an error message after migrating to BW/4HANA 2.0 from BW/4HANA 1.0.

The error log as below:

Category ABAP programming error

Runtime Errors RAISE_EXCEPTION

ABAP Program CL_RSDTIS_ERROR_HANDLER=======CP

Application Component BW4-DM

Short Text Exception condition "TYPE_NOT_FOUND" triggered

What happened?

The current ABAP program has encountered an unexpected situation.

What can I do?

Note which actions and entries caused the error to occur. Consult your SAP administrator. Using transaction ST22 for ABAP dump analysis, you can view, manage, and retain termination messages for longer periods. Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look at and manage termination messages, and you can also keep them for a long time.

Error analysis

A RAISE statement in program "CL_ABAP_TYPEDESCR=============CP" has raised exception condition "TYPE_NOT_FOUND". Since the exception was not caught by a program higher up in the call hierarchy, processing was terminated. Short text for exception condition: You can find detailed documentation about the exception condition in transaction SE37 (Function Library). You can find the name of the function module called from the display of active calls.

How to correct the error

If the error occurs in a non-modfied SAP program, you might be able to find a solution in the SAP Notes system. If you have access to the SAP Notes system, check there first using the following keywords:

"RAISE_EXCEPTION" "CL_ABAP_TYPEDESCR=============CP" bzw. CL_ABAP_TYPEDESCR=============CM002 "DESCRIBE_BY_NAME"

or

"CL_ABAP_TYPEDESCR=============CP" TYPE_NOT_FOUND

or

"RSPROCESS" "TYPE_NOT_FOUND"

Anybody can help with this.

Hi Tienus

The problem is fixed with note 2770525. But since the upgrade deleted all DTIS tables you lost all DTP error stacks. If you still require these error stacks please check your database backup.
