Email Notification on Substitution

Dear Experts,

I searched the forum but couldnt find anything on this :

I have a requirement to send a notification (on substitution being active) via email to the user and his substituite, when a rule is maintained.

Is there any configuration for this or should I be enhancing any components?

Please advice.

Hi,

It is not possible & configurable in standard. You could take a look into BAdI WF_SUBSTITUTE. I am quite sure that you could include some email sending code there. => Always when substitution is turned on, send an email to the "substitution target".
