Fill internal procurement catalog in S/4HANA onPrem via interface

Dear Community,

what is current best solution / "way-to-go" to fill an internal procurement catalog in an S/4HANA onPrem system via interfaces? Idea is to setup internal cataloge as a "placeholder" and to fill in the real data from an external provider. External provider does not offer punchout functionality so this solution is currently in focus.

you can create a iFlow to proxy requests from external to internal by Cloud Connector Destination, it's more secure than show your Hana Db ports externally.

Client (REST API, ODATA, SOAP) ---> Call Integration Suite (JDBC, OData) ---> Cloud Connector Destination ---> Cloud Connector on Premise ---> Hana DB on-premise

Thanks for the input but my open point in this call structure is what technical object in the S/4HANA system can / should be used to update the internal cataloge? In standard I am not aware of any OData which is already existing. So is there any way to go ? (OData, IDOC, RFC, SOAP ...)
