Filter script to evade BW variable

Dear all

I created a story with BW live data connection with a variable prompt when opening the story to select a business division for reporting.
I used a R-visualization to display indicator arrows in Red or Green. Unfortunately the R-vizualization doesn't work with the input variable from BW.

Is there a way to create some kind of filter (drop-down-field filled with values from BW e. g.) with a script which can be used to select the business division when opening the story? Or maybe on the first page of the story or something like that.
The goal is, that all pages are getting filtered with it.
