How can i avoid using db hints?

I want to improve performance of a select without using db hints. Is it possible? If so, How can i do it?

Hi Pavan,

You can use SQL Plan Baselines.

SAP note below contains the starting information:

1776485 - FAQ: SQL Plan Baselines

You need to experiment with this if you want to use it though.
