Leave request workflow: no agent assignment for task TS21500003

Hello everyone,

we have the following issue with standard Leave request workflow(WS21500001): when user approves/rejects leave request, task TS21500003 status is set to 'Cancelled'. In WF log i see that it is caused by 'No agent' assignment. We have the Role assignment for this task and when the task is in status 'Ready' i see an agent for it. Why this agent disappears during the processing? Which binding should be between WS21500001 and TS21500003?

Hi Olga,

I speculate this not issue with workflow binding but data. What does transaction SWLC for TS 21500003 indicate? Also check container values from transaction SWIA, specifically whether or not container value _WF_INITIATOR of TS21500004 is found.

Hi ,

Go to swdd and enter ur workflow number which u gave in v_t554s_web for ur leave type and check all the agent assignment is done and it shud be in green colour .the above u given is task this u need to give in pftc and enable it and turn it to green

Hi Olga,

1. Which user was determined to be the approver?

2. If approver is same user as workflow Initiator, some workflows do not allow approver to be same user as workflow initiator.

(some workflows determine who the approver should be, then compare that approver list to "excluded agents". Often, workflow Initiator is an "excluded agent", and "excluded agents" (sometimes workflow initiator) will automatically become ineligible to be approver.

3. Check to ensure agent (approver) is not an excluded agent.

SWLC indicates nothing:

0 Overview - incorrect task Selection period 01.12.2019 - 31.12.2019 No serious errors found.

I don't have the step with task TS21500004 in WF...but in SWIA i can see WF_Initiator for WS21500001 and it's the person who has raised a leave request. WF transfers to the task TS21500003 container type CL_PT_REQ_WF_ATTRIBS with appropriate values of N_AGENT, RESPONSIBLE, N_PROCESSOR._Wi_Actual_Agent is not assigned but should be. At the same time when user withdraws his leave request there are no problems with Agent determination and the task/workflow is set in status 'COMPLETED'.

Do you have any idea?
