Hello,
We have a couple of Mac users in our company who would like to have SSO in the SAP GUI, but unfortunately I have not found how they can issue themselves an SSO certificate, do you have any experience with this?

Hi,

the SSO certificate is issued by the product SAP Secure Login Service (succeeding SAP Single Sign-On), which includes the Secure Login Client for macOS. You will find the details at https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP%20SECURE%20LOGIN%20SERVICE/c35917ca71e941c5a97a11d2c55dcacd/28d654c445...

Best regards,
Christian

You don't need a certificate. The Mac can be joined to Microsoft Active Directory and you can use a Kerberos ticket for SAP GUI on macOS. The user will get an SSO experience. Many of our customers use our product for this functionality.
