MDG Consolidation staging tables Authorizations and Read write access

Hello All,

We are working on a scenario where we are looking to integrate SAP BODS with SAP

MDG consolidation staging tables. The channel which we are planning to build is to

automate the process of pushing data from SAP BODS to SAP MDG consolidation

Staging tables. To setup this channel SAP BODS system or the background user

should be given read and write access to the staging tables of SAP MDG consolidation to

write data.

However, we identified that these tables are part of SAP standard schema and DB admin

team is not agreeing to provide access to the background user of BODS for read and

write access.

Can someone share their experriences, guides or SAP notes which we can strongly put this

point that it should not be a problem to give access to a background user to read and

write?

Please feel free to suggest the correct way to handle this kind of scenarios.

Thanks for sharing the note. Just to let you know I got a chance to view this note earlier / already. However, this is very specific to GRC relevant module and it asks to modify / change some standard program relevant to SAP GRC. It is not relevant in this context.
