Analysis for Office Connection to SAC

Good Morning Community,

I am trying to setup a connection between my SAP Analysis for Office and SAP Analytics Cloud.

I have tried various install sets 2.7 SP5, 2.7 SP5 patch 1, 2.7 SP4, 2.7 SP3, 2.7 SP2.

All have different errors such as:

'Unable to cast object of type 'System.Net.WebException' to type 'bali.lang.Exception' - (for 2.7 SP5 & patch 1)

'Error during logon (REST_AUTHORIZATION_ISSUE)' for the others.

There is an SAP Note for 2.7 SP5 and patch 1 which has a status of 'under investigation'

My question is clearly some folks out there have got this connection working, which version of the software are you using?

Hi Howard - it is working for me on 2.7 SP5 (no patch)

What version of SAC are you using? I am using Version 2019.8.6

It´s possible to use another URL instead of "The friendly logon URL *.<landscape id>.sapbusinessobjects.cloud" ? Like https://sac.companyname.com.ar
