Hi,
Can someone clarify me on the difference between HANA Information view Vs CDS views.
- I know CDS views will be available as catalogue objects in schema under the views and they are created as design time objects as .hdbdd files in HANA studio. But if we have CDS views why do we have HANA Information views( Calc. view) in place.
- If we can create AMDP and use calculation views in ABAP programs then why do we have CDS views.
- I can expose CDS views as well as HANA Information views( Calc views ) as XSODATA services and can use them in my UI5 application, then why do we have these two views in place.
- Is there any performance difference between these two type of views
Can some one help me in understanding these differences.
Thanks in Advance
