Hello mnarapureddy,

MMM.YYYY format in BW is fiscal period format. Currently SAC do not support detection of fiscal format from source system. What you can do is a workaround.

  1. Mostly BW/ ECC/ S4 side of fiscal Period field is derived based on posting date. You can bring posting date field in SAC and then use that field as the based to convert to Fiscal Period (if you have offsets in fiscal start and end month). You can enable fiscal by going into model preference and turn on Fiscal with declaring start and end month. This way you can ignore BW Fiscal Period column altogether and derive it in SAC based on posting date.
  2. Other option is to change MMM.YYYY data to MM.YYYY during data wrangling ~ transformation. This way you can still leverage same field. Challenge would, if your 001.2021 is not equals to Jan 2021. Then SAC stories can mislead users. But if you use ID instead of description then you should be fine.
