Can we use "sap_fiori_3" theme on older sapui5 versions?

Hello,

I am using Carousel container in Dynamic Side Content layout but Carousel arrows doesn't fit side content area when I use sap_belize theme. Looks good when I use sap_fiori_3 but our client's sapui5 version is really old. I would assume it would not work when we put application on launcpad. Am I correct?

I am attaching ss of Carousel on both themes and other suggestions would be appreciated.

What SAPUI5 version is your client? I believe the sap_fiori_3 theme becomes available from SAPUI5 1.65.

Thank you for your answer, unfortunately our clients sapui5 version is 1.38.5.

In that case, the sap_fiori_3 theme can't be used. You will have to look for some other workaround.

I have another question related to this subject. As I said out client's sapui5 library version is 1.38. But on a previous project without noticing we used sap.f.GridContainer which is avalible since 1.65. GridContainer works fine both test system and production system. How is this possible, what is the Sap's logic on versions?

it is very likely you run your app standalone(means you have your own index html), which load ui5 lib from cdn.
