Does SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards 4.1 work on Microsoft Office 2016?

Hello,

I've installed SAP BO 4.1 SP06. Also, installed SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards 4.1 SP07; with Microsoft Office 2013 its working fine.

However, does SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards 4.1 SP07 work on Microsoft Office 2016?

I've also referred PAM for SAP BO Dashboards http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/507d3365-009b-3010-04b0-e5abc8f00...

Please let me know is MS Office 2016 supported?

     The BI 4.1.7 PAM clearly states that it DOES NOT support Office 2016, see page # 14.  It only shows supported MS Office 2007 / 2010 / 2013 versions.

Even the latest version of BI 4.2 w/SP2 still DOES NOT support Office 2016, it is way too new.

Hopefully BI 4.2 w/SP3 may support it when it is slatted for release in AUG 2016.

It may not be supported, but it appears to work fine.

To get past the prerequisites you either edit the xml file (as for previous releases), or install an older version of office first, then install Dashboard, then upgrade to Office 2016.

Only problem I've had is having to start Excel before starting Dashboard.
