Dynamic enabling/disabling actions in SAP CAP

Hello, dear experts!

I've failed to find any solutions on the Internet, so I'm trying my luck here.

I have two questions.

1. Is there any way to dynamically enable/disable CRUD operations in SAP CAP (maybe some analogue to 'EXTERNAL_CALCULATION' keyword in BOPF)? I need to disable standard CRUD operations (e.g. update) depending on the instance state, in order to disable the respective action button on the Fiori UI.

2. Is there any way to dynamically enable/disable custom actions in SAP CAP?

Hi Anatoli,

It's up to the UI to handle instance-based access control for operations, e.g. using a certain (calculated) field of the entity.

In CAP you can only statically enable/disable actions, but not on instance basis.
