Can anyone tell me how approvals work in the new ECM. As it stands my I can enter a merit increase for one of my employees and then approve it. I would like my next level manager only to approve or reject it.
Am I missing a security setting? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. the related message implies that to get the security to work the way I want it to (i.e. Lower-level manager enters and submits a merit increase, only higher level manager can approve) I will have to implement HRECM00_CONSISTENCY. Is this correct? I was assuming that the type of functionality I want to implement was standard.
