Error APIMGT100: Activation of API Management capability has failed.

Hi,

I am in trouble to activate my capability for trail account.

Application URL :https://5fc9ef8etrial.integrationsuite-trial.cfapps.ap21.hana.ondemand.com/shell/home

Appreciated if anyone can give some hints on it.

Hi Amy (Mi Yan),

I offer two answers. I am using a trial BTP account with trial Integration Suite subscription (Cloud Foundry).

1) Wait overnight and try again. When I first got APIMGT100 error, I was able to activate API Management the next day.

However, whilst trying to resolve another issue (APIs settings menu was missing^), I intentionally de-activated API Management, but then could not re-activate it - i kept getting APIMGT100 error. (Note: I tried to unsubscribe & re-subscribe to Integration Suite from BTP Cockpit, without success). This leads to the 2nd answer, which is not trivial, but worked:

2) Create a new sub-account, and move Cloud Foundry and all Entitlements over to it. Look at post by priyanka2018 and also my comments in it.

Hi Jeff ,

Thanks for your sharing . I almost went through the same path as you :deactived API management because APIs settings menu missing ->try to active API management again but encounter APIMGT100 error ->follow the same guide posted by priyanka2018 ,deleted my trial acount and created a new sub account ,then I can active the API management ,but the APIs settings menu is still missing ,have you fixed the APIs setting menu missing issue ?
