Fiori app / OData metrics

Hello

I am looking for ways to measure the metrics of Fiori apps in terms of their productive usage :

1) how many/which users use specific Fiori launchpad apps/ Odata services and also

2) which users use specific themes

Is anyone aware of standard functionality to report on this or alternatively have ideas on how to get to these figures (keeping in mind productive use and therefore not affecting the performance of the service requests) ?

Hi Jan,

It is the first time I heard the requirement for 2).

I think it is stored in somewhere personalization table.

You can take SQL trace in the transaction ST01 and change the theme in the launchpad.

You can find some table name for updating the personalization in the trace.

Please share your findings.

Hello Masa

This can be achieved by selecting on table SPERS_OBJ table with PERS_TYPE=U, PERS_KEY=/UI2/USER_PROFILE, FIELDNAME=VALUE - the field FIELDVALUE contains the name of the current theme selected by the user.

(Some background : this metric is used by my client to decide which theme is the most popular and/or remove the themes not used by most users).
