GUI 770, Quartz Theme, text field blank

Hi,

Similar to the issue described in:

3025935 - after install the GUI 770 cursor jumps at the end of the field

But it's not the cursor that moves, the text goes "blank"

E.g. after typing "FIO" in SU01 >

I am on PL1 for 770:

Only happens with the quartz themes(light and dark) from what I can see.

Only fields with the "Enhanced" search

Did a quick note search, could not find anything relevant other than the note mentioned above?

I've recently installed a new laptop - and this issue does not exist. I think because I changed the font/size the first time around, could have contributed to the issue. I will test this out later. Could also explain why this is maybe not so common.

according to note: SP02 for 770 is needed.. think June is the release date for SP02 ... will check once released.

I see hotfix 1 for PL1 is available, but unfortunately note 3030478 is not included ;

Hi Chris,

You can monitor KBA 2035293 - known and open issues of SAP GUI for Windows.

Every two weeks it should be an update. SAP Note 3030478 is already available for SAP GUI 7.60...

Another possibility is to subscribe to SAP Note 3030478. When it get updated, you will receive a notification.

Currently I'm subscribed to : 1053737 - Expected release dates for SAP GUI for Windows

But thanks, note 2035293 also looks quite useful.

Unfortunately 3030478 is only available in SP2 for GUI770. It may be available already in GUI760? , but I'm not going to downgrade, I'll rather wait a few more weeks, it's not a serious issue... (just an annoying one)

Hi Chris,

I just have another look at the SAP Note. GUI770 SP2 is not available yet.

For GUI760, the correction is in SP11, available for download since May, 20th.

If I see anything new within the next few days, I'll add another comment here.
