Hiding/Removing Facets

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone knows of a way to hide facets in an information space? For example, I have a user who wants to export all data from an information space to a CSV file. However, they do not want to include a certain facet (Product ID) as it causes the number of records to be quite large. Is there any way to do this or some sort of workaround?

Justin,

No you can not simply show/hide facets in an Information Space.

Please reference the following Explorer User Guide on SAP Help Portal for additional information about how to setup Information Spaces.

Hi Justin,

You can create a row level security kind of thing by using personalization option.

With this you can make the desired columns visible for desired users and they can export them accordingly however at runtime it is not possible to hide facets.
