Hi,

Using a thirdparty software, which use Sybase.

We are requesting to use Open Client EBF29893.

We tried using the latest version provided by SAP EBF30634 but it seems to crash the system.

Any chance we can retrieve EBF29893?
Sincerely,

Fabrice Plard

NOTE: An EBF number is tied to a specific product, release version, chip/architecture and OS (eg, EBF28824 == SDK 16.0 SP03 PL07 for Linux x86 64bit). You may want to update the question to include the additional details.

A few suggestions, some of which you may have already tried (?):

  • if EBF29893 refers to SDK 16.0 versions SP03 PL13-PL14 or SP04 PL02-PL05 then you may find your desired download at SAP's Free Trials and Downloads page (pay close attention to each download's OS, chip/architecture and whether 32-bit vs 64-bit)
  • if you have an active tech support contract with SAP then you may be able to open a case and receive a one-off link to the desired download
  • contact the third party software company's tech support to see if they can provide the desired download

It's not mentioned in the question so one (obvious?) question ... have you verified EBF30634 is for your specific chip/architecture and OS (eg, HP-UX on IA64 64-bit)?
